The Redback K-RPM15795 is a 2.5in exhaust system for the Ford FG Falcon ute (02/2008–12/2014) that runs a muffler centre with a rear-muffler delete. It keeps a chambered muffler in the middle but leaves the rear box out — open at the back, controlled in the middle.
What does the muffler-centre, rear-delete layout do?
This system uses a chambered muffler in the centre of the run and deletes the rear silencer. The centre muffler does proper absorptive quietening in the middle, while removing the rear box opens up the back of the ute for a louder, harder note. It's a different balance to a hotdog build — the centre muffler keeps more control of the tone than a straight-through resonator would, even with the rear deleted.
Is it road legal?
The supplier doesn't publish whether a catalytic converter is included; this part is the silencing section rather than a cat change. Deleting the rear muffler raises the volume, and exterior noise has its own legal limits, so confirm your state's noise requirements and the exact build with the workshop before fitting.
