K-RPM16025 is a complete dual 3in cat-back exhaust for the Holden Commodore, finishing in a rear muffler. Supplied by Redback, it swaps the whole back half of the exhaust from the catalytic converter rearward for a twin 3in run with rear silencing retained.

What's included in a cat-back run?

A cat-back is the back half of the exhaust — everything from the catalytic converter to the tailpipe — supplied as a matched kit. Here that's a dual 3in layout, two banks of 3in pipe carried back to a rear muffler. Because it stops at the cat, the converter and the emissions gear ahead of it are untouched. It's the usual route for owners who want the run freed up end-to-end without getting into the engine-side pipework.

Who is the dual 3in size for?

At 3in per bank this is the larger pipe size, suited to a bigger or modified Commodore rather than stock pipework — the dual layout gives each side a clear path to the rear. The retained rear muffler keeps the tailpipe note managed instead of running open. It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore; confirm your exact model, engine and prior work with the workshop before ordering a full kit like this.

Is it road legal?

Keeping the catalytic converter is the point of a cat-back — the emissions hardware ahead of the kit stays as fitted. Whether the finished car meets noise requirements depends on the whole build and how it's driven, so confirm the completed system suits your registration and use with the workshop before fitting.

What does fitting involve in the Illawarra?

Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits full cat-back kits like this in-house across the Illawarra. Fitting both 3in banks and the rear muffler takes proper bench time — we mate it from the cat back, set the rear box, and check clearances and hangers along the run. Bring your Commodore in and we'll confirm the build and book the bay.
