Where does a lone centre muffler land the note?
Keep the cat, fit one centre muffler, and the NX sits squarely between a bare straight-through pipe and a muffler-and-resonator build. The muffler softens the 4M41T by absorbing and reflecting the pulses inside its chamber; without a rear resonator, the odd cruise frequency can still reach the cabin.
