Cut for the DPF-equipped BT-50, the MPI Automotive MKMA0022 is a with-cat, no-muffler section listed to fit the Mazda BT-50 DPF 3.2L. It keeps the catalytic converter and deletes the muffler, so it's the freer-flowing build sized for the diesel particulate filter generation.
Why does the DPF generation matter?
The DPF-equipped BT-50 runs a diesel particulate filter in the exhaust path, which changes the layout downstream of the engine. The MKMA0022 is cut to suit that DPF generation specifically — it's not the same routing as the earlier B32P. Matching the section to the DPF setup is what keeps the system working with the factory filter and sitting correctly in the chassis.
What does the with-cat, no-muffler build give you?
This section retains the catalytic converter, so the emissions hardware stays in place, but deletes the rear muffler.
