Why keep the cat but delete the muffler on the BT-50?
That pairing is the whole point of the SSMKMA0015. The converter stays through the turbo-back span, so the emissions hardware the BT-50 left the factory with is retained, while the rear muffler comes out so the back half runs without a chambered silencer. The 3.0L gets a harder, more direct voice than a mufflered system without crossing into a full cat-delete. It's the cat-retained option for an owner who wants more note.
How far back does the turbo-back run?
