Mazda BT50 B32P 3.2L Without Cat & With Hotdog.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MKMA0025 runs a hotdog resonator with the catalytic converter deleted on the Mazda BT-50 B32P 3.2L — a compact straight-through resonator that trims drone in place of a full muffler on the 3.2L diesel.
A hotdog is a short straight-through resonator: gas passes through a perforated core and packing, taking the edge off resonance and drone while keeping the path open. On the MKMA0025 it sits where a muffler otherwise would, giving the BT-50 B32P 3.2L a freer note than a muffler build with drone still managed.
It's listed to fit the Mazda BT-50 B32P with the 3.2L diesel. The B32P designation matters for matching the right section, so confirm your exact BT-50 build with the workshop before ordering.
Because this build deletes the catalytic converter it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW; it is supplied for off-road and competition use only, and we won't fit it to a vehicle being driven on the road.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this MPI Automotive hotdog section in-house across the Illawarra. We confirm the listed fitment for your BT-50 B32P 3.2L, check hangers and clearances, and book the bay. Because this is one section of the wider exhaust, we also check how it mates to the pipework either side and flag anything that needs replacing while the car is up on the hoist. It carries a supplier RRP of $1,388.76 AUD; as a fitted-section item we order it in against your confirmed build rather than holding every variant on the shelf, so allow lead time for the part to arrive before your booking.
Stocked and fitted by Oak Flats Muffler Men, the Illawarra exhaust and 4x4 specialist in Oak Flats, NSW.

Send the vehicle make, model, year, engine, current issue, desired sound or performance goal, and clear photos of the existing exhaust where available.
