The MPI Automotive MKMA0027 is a stripped exhaust section listed to fit the Mazda BT-50 B32P 3.2L, built without the catalytic converter and without a muffler. The cat-delete defines it: removing the converter makes this an off-road-only build.
Why is this off-road only?
Because the MKMA0027 deletes the catalytic converter, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is intended for off-road use only. Removing the cat takes out emissions hardware the BT-50 needs to be road-legal, and there's no softening that. We state it plainly so you can decide whether an off-road build suits your use before ordering.
What does no cat and no muffler give you?
With both the catalytic converter and the rear muffler removed, this is the most open and free-flowing of the B32P sections. There's no chambered box to absorb the note and no cat in the path, so the 3.2L diesel comes through loud and raw. It suits a dedicated off-road or competition build where flow and an unmuffled note are the priority and registration isn't a factor.
