The MPI Automotive MKSZ0007 is a 2-1/2in full system for the Suzuki Jimny XL 5-door 1.5L, taking in an extractor, cat, centre hotdog and rear muffler.
What does this full system cover?
This is a head-back package for the five-door Jimny XL with the 1.5L engine at 2-1/2in. It bundles the extractor, the cat, a centre hotdog resonator and a rear muffler, covering every section of the exhaust in one kit. With both a hotdog and a rear box, it carries two silencing stages rather than deleting one.
What is a full extractor system and what does it change?
A full system swaps the manifold for extractors and replaces the whole exhaust behind them at 2-1/2in, larger than the factory pipe on a small four. The hotdog and rear muffler set the note between them, and keeping both is the more restrained layout. The cat stays in place, so the emissions hardware is retained. Expect it to be louder than stock, though we do not publish a measured figure.
