Why a ute-specific header set?
A ute's chassis rails, tray mounting and rear routing differ from a wagon or sedan, so the pipework underneath isn't interchangeable. PP5363-67 is cut for the VU and VY Series 1 V8 ute, with the 3in system shaped for that body. Pacemaker lists it against the Holden ute; we confirm the fitment against your actual vehicle on the hoist.
What does the full 3in package include?
Unlike a rear-pipe-only kit, this is the complete build: tuned headers and the full 3in system for the VU/VY ute, supplied as one matched run. The 1⁻₇⁄₈in tuned-length primaries replace the factory cast manifold, giving each cylinder a matched runner into the collector, and the 3in bore carries through from the headers back without stepping between sections.
Is it road legal?
Tuned extractors aren't a catalytic converter or muffler, so the part itself holds no certified emissions device. Whether a VU/VY ute stays compliant depends on the complete system and how it's engineered to NSW requirements, which we cover per vehicle.
