Pacemaker PP5363-79 is the 3in full-system version of the VT–VY Series 1 V8 wagon set: tuned 1⁻₇⁄₈in headers with a complete 3in system. The larger 3in system bore, supplied as a full package for the wagon body, is what sets this apart from the smaller-bore wagon listing.
What does the 3in wagon system cover?
PP5363-79 is the complete build for the VT, VX and VY Series 1 V8 wagon: tuned headers and the full 3in system as one matched run with the muffler included. The 3in system bore is the larger of the two system sizes Pacemaker offers across this header family. The pipework is routed for the long-roof wagon floorpan; Pacemaker lists it against the Holden wagon and we confirm on the car.
Why a wagon-specific routing?
A wagon's load area, rear floor and suspension mounting differ from a sedan or ute, so the 3in pipework under the back of the car is shaped for that body rather than shared. The 1⁻₇⁄₈in tuned-length primaries replace the factory cast manifold, giving each cylinder a matched runner into the collector, with the 3in bore carrying through from the headers back.
Is it road legal?
Tuned extractors aren't a catalytic converter or muffler, so the part itself holds no certified emissions device. Whether a VT–VY wagon stays compliant depends on the complete system and how it's engineered to NSW requirements, which we cover per car. Pacemaker publishes no approval for the set and we won't imply one exists.
