What does this system cover?
This PP5367-59 pairs Pacemaker's Try-Y header design with a 3in system for the run-out CV8Z Monaro. Unlike the single-outlet version, this build is set up as dual-outlet, so the rear feeds two exit paths. The headers are the tubular section closest to the heads, replacing the cast factory manifolds.
What is a Try-Y header and what does it change?
A Try-Y header gathers the primaries into Y-collectors rather than a single merge, a geometry aimed at managing exhaust pulses on a V8. Stepping the whole system up to 3in changes how the engine breathes and the character of the note versus stock.
