Redback 2.5" Exhaust.5" Centre Assembly with Hotdog (SKU: STR110HD) Engineered for
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The Redback STR110HD is a 2.5in centre assembly with a hotdog for the Holden Commodore VS V6 ute. The hotdog centre is the point of difference — a compact straight-through resonator instead of a chambered centre muffler.
Where a conventional centre muffler quietens through chambers, the hotdog in this assembly is a straight-through resonator: gas passes through a perforated core wrapped in absorptive material. That frees up flow in the middle of the run and trims drone without the volume drop of a full muffler. On the VS V6 ute it gives a freer, slightly more open centre section than the muffler-centre version.
A hotdog suits an owner who wants the mid-section to flow more freely and prefers a more open note than a chambered centre would give, while still taking the harsh edge off. It's supplied as a centre assembly — the resonator plus its pipework as one piece — sized at 2.5in to match the V6 ute pipework. It's a single section, not a full system.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore VS V6 ute at a 2.5in bore. Confirm your exact build and the rest of your pipework with the workshop before ordering, since centre-section routing can vary across the VS ute range and prior work changes what mates up.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this centre assembly in-house across the Illawarra. We cut it into your existing 2.5in run, check it clears the tray floor and set the hangers. Bring the ute in and we'll confirm the fit before booking.
