Redback Dual 3" Rear Muffler.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

STR134-3 is a dual 3in rear muffler for the Holden Commodore ute, VT through VZ, from 1997. Supplied by Redback, it's the rear silencer of a twin 3in system shaped around the ute body — the box that controls the exit note at the back of the tray.
The Commodore ute routes its rear exhaust differently to the sedan, with the tray, chassis and tailpipe exit setting where the rear box can sit and how it mounts. This rear muffler is built for that ute packaging, so the hanger points and clearance suit the tray rather than a boot. Fitting a ute-shaped section means the rear box tucks up where it should rather than fouling the body.
This is the rear silencer in a twin 3in layout, doing the final quietening before the tailpipe. At 3in it's the larger pipe size, sized for a worked ute rather than stock pipework, with the dual setup running each bank its own path to the back. As a rear section it's matched to a 3in dual run rather than supplied as a complete exhaust.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore ute across the VT to VZ range from 1997. Because that spans several series of ute with their own details, confirm your exact series, the rest of your 3in dual pipework and any prior work with the workshop so the rear muffler mates up before ordering.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this rear muffler in-house across the Illawarra. We mate the box to your dual 3in run, set the rear position under the tray, and check hangers and tailpipe alignment. Bring your ute in and we'll confirm the fit and book the bay.
