The Redback STR164 is a right-rear performance muffler in a 2.5in bore for the Holden Commodore VE and VF sedan. It's the right-hand rear silencer of the pair — a side-specific box, not a universal rear muffler.
Why is this the right-rear unit specifically?
On a dual rear-exit car the two back mufflers aren't interchangeable — each is shaped and routed to suit its own side of the floor and tailpipe exit. The STR164 is the right-hand unit. Ordering the correct side matters because the body, inlet and outlet are cut to suit that corner of the car; the left side is a different part number.
