Redback Exhaust.5" Centre Assembly with Hotdog (STR219HD) Fits a wide range.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The Redback STR219HD is a 2.5in centre assembly with a hotdog for the Ford Falcon FG sedan. The hotdog centre is the defining feature — a compact straight-through resonator supplied as a centre section for the FG.
This is the centre section of the exhaust supplied with a hotdog — a compact straight-through resonator — built in. Rather than quietening through chambers like a muffler, the hotdog passes gas through a perforated core wrapped in absorptive material, freeing up flow and trimming drone in the middle of the run. As an assembly it's the resonator plus its centre pipework as one piece, dropping into the FG floor.
The hotdog suits an FG owner who wants a freer-flowing mid-section and a more open note than a chambered centre muffler gives, while still keeping the harshest edge off. At a 2.5in bore — the larger of the common Falcon pipe sizes — it matches the FG sedan pipework. It's a single centre assembly, not a full system.
It's listed to fit the Ford Falcon FG sedan at a 2.5in bore. Because the FG sedan range covers several variants, confirm your exact model, engine and the rest of your pipework with the workshop before ordering, since prior exhaust work changes what mates up.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits this centre assembly in-house across the Illawarra. We cut it into your existing 2.5in run, check it clears the FG floor and set the hangers. Bring the car in and we'll confirm the fit before booking.
