Suzuki Vitara 1.8L & 2.0L EFI J20A Engine Extractor.
Category: Extractors and headers

The MPI Automotive FX-816 is an extractor set listed to fit the EFI Suzuki Vitara with the 1.8L and 2.0L J20A engine. It replaces the factory exhaust manifold at the cylinder head.
An extractor, or header, swaps the cast factory manifold for tuned-length tubes that merge downstream, aiming to reduce back-pressure off the head. On the EFI Vitara it's the front-most exhaust component, bolted straight to the engine. We can't publish power or sound figures for the FX-816 — the supplier doesn't, and we won't quote numbers we can't stand behind.
The FX-816 is listed to fit the 1.8L and 2.0L EFI Vitara with the J20A engine. Because it spans two engine sizes, confirm your exact J20A application and build with the workshop before ordering. We treat fitment as 'listed to fit' rather than guaranteed, since feed data can be imperfect.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits Vitara extractors in-house. The J20A engine and which capacity you're running are exactly what we confirm before committing, since the 1.8L and 2.0L applications differ. We check the head face and how the extractor clears the bay before mating it to your existing system. Send us your Vitara's details and we'll check the FX-816 against your build and book the bay.
The FX-816 is an MPI Automotive part with a recommended retail of $815.94. As a Vitara header it may be ordered in rather than stocked, so ask us about availability when you book.
