Suzuki Vitara 1.6L EFI G16B Engine EFI only 1994-98 Ball Flange Fitting Extractor.
Category: Extractors and headers

The MPI Automotive FX-821 is an EFI-only extractor set with a ball-flange fitting, listed to fit the Suzuki Vitara 1.6L G16B from 1994. It replaces the factory exhaust manifold at the cylinder head.
An extractor, or header, swaps the cast factory manifold for tuned-length tubes that merge downstream to reduce back-pressure off the head. The FX-821 uses a ball-flange joint where it meets the next section — a spherical seat that allows a little movement and self-aligns, which suits how these Vitara systems are built. It's EFI-only, so the engine management specification matters. We can't publish power or sound figures, because the supplier doesn't.
The FX-821 is listed to fit the EFI 1.6L G16B Vitara from 1994 (the application running to around 1998). Because there are carby and EFI versions of this engine, confirm yours is the EFI G16B with the workshop before ordering. We treat fitment as 'listed to fit' rather than guaranteed.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits Vitara extractors in-house. The EFI-versus-carby distinction and the ball-flange joint are exactly what we confirm before committing. Send us your Vitara's details and we'll check the FX-821 against your build and book the bay.
The FX-821 is an MPI Automotive part with a recommended retail of $660.22. As a header for an older Vitara it may be an order-in item, so ask us about availability when you book.
