Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.5L V6 1998 - 2005 H25A Direct Fit Extractor (Fits 2.7L V6 - See Description).
Category: Extractors and headers

The MPI Automotive FX-838 is a direct-fit V6 extractor set listed to fit the Suzuki Grand Vitara with the 2.5L V6 (H25A), 1998–2005, and noted to also suit the 2.7L V6. It replaces the factory exhaust manifolds at the heads.
An extractor, or header, swaps the cast factory manifold for tuned-length tubes that merge downstream to reduce back-pressure off the heads. 'Direct-fit' means it's designed to bolt up in place of the original manifolds without modification on the listed application. On a V6 Grand Vitara that's a set per bank at the front of the exhaust. We can't publish power or sound figures for the FX-838 — the supplier doesn't, and we don't invent them.
The FX-838 is listed to fit the 2.5L V6 (H25A) Grand Vitara from 1998 to 2005, and is noted to also suit the 2.7L V6. Because two engine sizes are involved, confirm your exact V6 and build with the workshop before ordering. We treat it as 'listed to fit' rather than guaranteed.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits V6 extractors in-house. We confirm which V6 you have, check the head faces and verify clearance on both banks before mating to your existing system. Send us your Grand Vitara's details and we'll confirm the FX-838 and book the bay.
The FX-838 is an MPI Automotive part with a recommended retail of $644.46. As a V6 header it may be ordered in rather than stocked, so ask us about lead time when you book.
